Born from boredom while deployed to Afghanistan, was the idea to create something to raise morale and unite Army EOD techs, unofficially, aside from our unit patch.
What's one thing to do while bored and deployed? Binge watch shows or movies when you're not on a response call, conducting disposal ops, advising or otherwise working or working out. Inspired by Star Wars comes the 52d EOD Trooper Group symbol.
